Nick Millward is the president of the Yokosuka Council on Asia-Pacific Studies. In his talk, Nick will draw on his research, his travel experiences in the area and his work to improve the conditions for the people living there.
Nick graduated from Virginia Military Institute in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. While living in Japan, Nick joined the executive committee of Yokosuka Council on Asia-Pacific Studies (YCAPS), a non-governmental organization that promotes the study of strategic, diplomatic and legal issues affecting the Asia-Pacific region. Nick has conducted extensive research on the subversion of ethnic minority groups in Central Asia and looks forward to authoring works in this field of study.
When discussing Central Asian cultural subversion, Nick is speaking in his private capacity only, not as a representative of the United States Marine Corps.
