A Journey of Heart and Soul Across Spain with John Gallen

John Gallen will be talking about his recent trip to Spain and his pilgrimage on the Spanish Camino de Santiago. In 2018 and 2021, he walked the Camino de Santiago from France across Northern Spain to the Atlantic Ocean. On the Camino, he discovered that when one walks 15-20 miles a day for several weeks, one enters a state of mind few experience. In Galicia, he reached this summit of introspection, spiritual rejuvenation, and inner peace.
John is the owner of Ethosource, LLC, a Reading based office furniture manufacturer and dealer, and owner and President of Wyatt Seating, an office seating manufacturer.
Gallen has served on the boards of the YMCA of Reading and Berks County, Greater Reading Economic Partnership, Caron Foundation and United Way of Berks County, and served his community as a Wyomissing Borough councilperson for four years and Finance Committee chairperson for the past 13 years. He also currently serves on Alvernia’s President’s Advisory Council.
Gallen has been recognized by the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance as a two-time Entrepreneur of the Year and has earned several awards for his community service by Safe Berks, Easy Does It, the Caron Foundation and the YMCA of Reading and Berks County. He attended Villanova University graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in languages and linguistics.
