Attorney Douglas S. Wortman is a ten-year veteran of U.S. Air Force Intelligence and has lived in Berks County for over 32 years since first arriving in 1990 to attend college at Kutztown University. He also studied overseas at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After earning his undergraduate degree, Doug went on to earn his Master’s Degree in History from East Stroudsburg University and his law degree from Widener Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Doug is a member of the Berks and Lehigh County Bar Associations. Additionally, he serves on the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas Board of Arbitrators. He is the founder and principle of Justicia Law LLC, a multi-service law firm serving the Hispanic Community of Berks County. Justicia Law LLC represents clients in divorce, child custody, child support, Chapter 7 bankruptcy, wills and estates, powers of attorney, driver’s license suspension, ARD and Immigration issues.
Doug was honored by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Pro Bono award for his work helping low income clients receive high quality legal services free of charge. Doug also has volunteered his legal services to several veteran advocacy groups.
