DESCRIPTION:Kimani Nehusi (PhD) is a progressive African historian born in Guyana. Dr. Nehusi is an academic who lectured at the University of Guyana\, the University of London and the University of East London and currently lectures at Temple University in Philadelphia. \nHe is known for his work on linguistics and Ancient Egyptian( Kemet) linguistic dispersal and has a study remit in African and Caribbean history and society; Nile Valley societies; research methodologies; education and socialization. African and Caribbean languages. \nNehusi’s research interests include Africa and its diaspora from ancient to modern times\, the Caribbean and Guyana. He has received many honours from different parts of the world for his scholarship. \nHe has been Assistant Examiner in the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) and lectured\, conducted workshops\, gave keynotes and contributed to radio and television programmes in many communities\, colleges\, universities and workplaces in various parts of the Caribbean\, USA\, Canada\, Europe (UK\, Holland\, Germany\, Sweden\, Denmark) and Africa (Nigeria\, Ghana\, South Africa). \nThis event will be held noon on Tuesday\, April 23 at the McGlinn Conference Center. \nThe deadline for registration is Thursday\, April 18. \nClick here to register for this event now.
