SUMMARY:Marginalized Communities in South America: The Case of Ecuador with Dr. Brian Jennings
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Jennings earned degrees in Forest Resource Management from West Virginia University before earning his PhD in Environmental Sociology from Utah State University.  His past research has focused on public program effectiveness\, community attachment in high-amenity settings\, and environmental worldviews of college students.  Dr. Jennings has a passion for the transformative power of study abroad.  He established the Interim in Ecuador program at Albright\, where students study a variety of topics while being immersed in the culture of Ecuador.  In the over 10 years the program has been in existence\, more than 100 students have studied in Ecuador.  He currently serves as the Vice President of the Association of Academic Programs in Latin American and the Caribbean (AAPLAC) and as a board member of the Centers for Interamerican Studies (CEDEI). \nThis event will be held at 12:00 noon on November 8 at the McGlinn Conference Center. \nDEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS NOVEMBER 1 \nClick here to register for this event now.
